The project was made in April 2019 for the E-commerce market for HONOR Malaysia to attract customers and motivate them to explore/purchase HONOR products with the latest upgrades. The motive of the 'Daily Check-in' concept is mainly help to increase traffic on the homepage so that automatically customers will come to know about the latest deals and products by HONOR. By visiting the page everyday, HONOR will provide points to the customer account which will convert to a huge discounted voucher during the month. By using these discount vouchers, customer can purchase their favorite HONOR product with up to 40% OFF.
Daily check-in is the 30 days event for Malaysian E-commerce market where customers need to visit the page everyday. Customer need to login on this page everyday and claim their redeem points which will be added to customers 'My Account'.
There will be 3 stages (5 Days, 10 Days, 15 Days) where customer can convert the points into voucher value if they want, or they can continue to get more discounted value. The overall event duration is 30 days but customer can visit any 15 days max to get highest discounted value and have to redeem that in same month.
Understand the requirements from Malaysia-based marketing team and other stockholders.
Understand the purpose, and machines and brainstorm the ideas of UX strategy for better customer experience.
Finalize UX Strategy & component behavior to create wireframes and keep the marketing team and all stockholders on the same page.
Experiment with wireframes with multiple people to understand their responses and modify them accordingly.
Explain to Visual Designers about treatment and work closely with cross-functional teams.
Work closely with testers to know if any technical issues.
UX Treatment:
On Key Visual, the content/target line needs to be more attractive to get quick customer attention.
How it works gives clear idea to customers about mechanics and shows 3 simple steps that customers need to do to get discount points and vouchers. The overall motive of the page is explained here.
Calendar component which shows all details e.g. how many days customers have checked in, number of points the customer has etc. After clicking on CLAIM YOUR POINT (CTA) customer will see a pop-up success message that the point has been added to his calendar. If the required number of points the customer has got then the message will also show that they can claim these points to GRAB VOUCHER.
Claim your voucher is the step where customer can convert their earned points into value vouchers. All information about voucher values and applicable product details will be shown here. Once the required days to claim voucher are over, the CTA will get activated. If customers don't have enough points to claim a particular voucher and still click on GRAB VOUCHER, then the pop-up message will appear to show this message.
